  • Environmental management is currently effected through sector specific legislation such as the Fisheries Act, Forestry Act, Lands Act etc. People might be referred to appropriate agencies.
  • An Environment Act is presently in draft form, and may be introduced in the near future. Could be posted on site.
  • Government policy requires that developers complete an Environmental Impact Assessment where requested.
